Before entering our breeding program, every sire and dam undergoes formal health evaluation. We screen for hip and elbow dysplasia through certified veterinary diagnostics, so our puppies inherit strong, stable foundations for a lifetime of movement.

Beyond the Basics (Heart, Thyroid & Eyes)

True health testing looks at the whole dog. Our breeding dogs receive clearances for cardiac health and autoimmune thyroid function, plus annual eye (CERF/EYE) examinations — stacking the odds in favor of long, healthy lives for every dog we produce.

Dermoid Sinus Checks & Neonatal Care

The Ridgeback’s iconic dorsal ridge requires specialized knowledge. We meticulously check every puppy for dermoid sinus before they leave our care, and raise each one with early neurological stimulation (ENS) and round-the-clock home monitoring for the best possible start.
